in Uzbekistan must also contact the Consular Department
of the Uzbek Ministry of Foreign Affairs to have
an invitation approved and sent to the Embassy
of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Washington DC
(and a copy sent to the traveler if possible)
on your behalf. The visa is not issued until the
approval is received by the Embassy.

NOTE:
- The visa validity is determined solely by the
visa office at the time of issue. Visa validity
ranges from single entry visa, valid for entry two
months from the date of issue, to multiple entries
visa valid for entry for up to 3 years. Period of
stay is usually up to 30 days each visit.
- Some tourist visa applications
may be referred to the home government for approval.
Approval in these cases may take 4-6 weeks.
