6. Letter from sending department or agency, addressed to:
   "Embassy of (the country you are planing to visit),

   The letter must explain all of the following:
   Applicant's position and title
   The purpose of the trip
   Dates of the intended visit
   Contact person in the country you are planing to visit

NOTE: - The Nigeria tourist or business visa is usually issued for entry within three months of the issue date provided the passport remains valid, for stay of 7 to 90 days, as granted by the Consulate. The visit must be completed prior to the expiry date of the visa. The multiple entries visa is valid six months for stay of 7-90 days on each visit.

- Visa applications for clergy or persons traveling for any Church-related purpose should be accompanied by approval letter from the Nigerian Department of Immigration.
