citizens (please

visa exempt nationality) -
Notarized copy of your
Resident Alien Card (Green Card) OR a valid US
visa in your passport. On request the applicant
has to send/show the original Resident Alien Card.
- Proof of your airline reservation
to and from Finland, such as an itinerary from
a travel agency, or proof of other travel arrangements.
- Proof of sufficient funds. (e.g.
copies of bank statements, pay stubs, or proof
of employment)
- Proof of travel/health/accident
insurance, valid until 15 days after the last
date of stay in the Schengen zone (minimum of
medical coverage $50,000).
- Invitation letter (contact information
of the host and visitor, purpose and duration
of the visit, confirmation of accomodation including
the address, signature and date) or hotel reservation.
- For an applicant under 18 years
old - not travelling with a parent, a notarized
parental authorization form.
- Letter from the company you will
work for and an invitation letter from your business
contact in Finland. (for business visa only)

Greece, Guatemala, Honduras, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland,
Israel, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania,
Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Mauritius, Mexico,
Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Norway,
Panama, Paraguay, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Salvador,
San Marino, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Seychelles, Singapore,
Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden,
Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States, Uruguay,
Vatican City State, Venezuela.
- Holders of a "Hong Kong Special
Administrative Region" passport, a "Região
Administrativa Especial de Macau" passport
or a "British National Overseas" passport
are exempt from the visa requirement.
- Please be advised that
the Finland Embassy may extend the processing time
at their discretion (Additional documents and an
interview may be requested)
- Be advised that approval
may be required for certain nationalities, and that
approval may extend the processing time by several
weeks.

mail. Please send it by courier delivery so that
if there’s a delay, you would be able to track
or trace it.
Requirements and fees are subject to change without
